Summary
A Voodoo is a kind of keyboard which places each thumb on a joystick and uses the positions of the joysticks to switch layers, allowing for fewer physical keys but many more effective keys. It removes the need to move the hands around and also allows integrated pointing via a joystick. For a more complete description of the perhaps unintuitive idea of joystick layer-switching, please read what makes a Voodoo.
While the paragraph above correctly gives the idea that Voodoo defines a category rather than a model of keyboard, there is also an ongoing effort to create the Voodoo. Execution is where the rubber meets the road, and simple as a keyboard should be to develop, the Voodoo still has a long way to go, but there are many exciting stops on the way to the final product I hope to present.
